Can you get server connections through Verizon Broadband card?
Can mIRC connect there? Any known problems?

Users haven't indicated any problems using their Verizon phone. As long as you have a chat client you should be fine.

using a verizon broadband card is iffy
one of our ircops uses a card and verizon blocks mirc ports

I think I'm going to say yes because now I'm using the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess. If you try to use it, you can notice this 9x faster than dial up having hunting for a best spot. This broadband is one of the best and I can tell you now hot it perfectly serves you the best.
